Predators go back-to-back in winning the 2016 Saturday Morning Gentlemans Hockey League title by beating the Voyageurs 4-0.
For the second straight year, Predators have defeated the Voyageurs (formerly Molson Cold Shots) to win the SMGHL crown. Led by the sound goaltending of Dan Lomas, the Preds took a 2-0 first period lead and added a couple insurance markers in the second to cap the victory. Both the Preds and Molson completed the round robin playoff series at 2-1-0. KC Blades were the regular season winners in the standings but failed to win a game in the round robin.
